Public is invited to retirement party

WARREN

The board of directors of Someplace Safe, Inc., invites the public to celebrate longtime Executive Director Patricia Porter’s 12 years of dedication to the organization from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warren Community Amphitheater, 321 Mahoning Ave. The board previously announced Porter’s retirement.

Light refreshments will be served.

The agency seeks to reduce and prevent domestic violence and to improve the quality of life for victims.

New Executive Director Cheryl Tarantino began the job July 1.
