Police seek robber, ask for public’s help

WARREN

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who robbed the PNC Bank branch on Parkman Road on Saturday morning.

Sgt. Jeff Cole of the city police department said the robber, a white man in his late 20s to mid-30s, wearing a blue T-shirt, a blue Detroit Tigers baseball cap and blue jeans, entered the bank at 2365 Parkman Road SW at 11:30 a.m. He did not wear a mask, and bank surveillance cameras got photos.

The robber demanded that a bank teller give him money and brandished a firearm, but he did not point it at the teller, Cole said. The robber fled after getting an undisclosed amount of cash. Cole said anyone with any information about the robber should call the police at 330-841-2512.
