Miss Whitman, Mr. Deabate set wedding date

Suzanne Whitman, daughter of Charles and Laurel Whitman of Canfield, and Giuseppe Deabate of Hilton Head Island, S.C., are engaged and planning a summer wedding.

The couple plan to exchange vows Aug. 7 at Kensington Golf Course in Canfield.

Miss Whitman is a graduate of Clemson University, and Mr. Deabate is a graduate of Auburn University.
