Heather Marie Franklin and Christopher Anthony Mulidore were married on June 26 in a Civil War-era ceremony in the flower garden of Poland Village Green.

The 4 p.m. wedding was part of the Civil War encampment during Celebrate Poland.

Parents of the bride are Thomas Sr. and Evelyn Franklin of Youngstown. The groom’s parents are Charles and Angelina Mulidore, also of Youngstown.

Performing the ceremony were the Rev. Bob Quaintance and the bride’s father.

A reception followed that evening at Bruno’s Restaurant in Poland.

The bride wore a white ball gown with a scooped neckline and a fitted bodice accented with embroidery and Swarovski crystals. The dress, fashioned in a Civil War-era style, featured tulle and lace trim.

Deborah Owrey served as matron of honor, and Christina Douglas was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel and Shannon Mulidore, the groom’s sisters.

The bride’s daughter, Haylee Jane Franklin, participated as the flower girl.

Eric Prestley served as best man, and groomsmen were Sam Mogul, Dwin Moran and Paul Hartman. Austan Franklin, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer.

Mrs. Mulidore attends Youngstown State University, studying for a degree in gerontology/sociology. She is employed as a manager at Wendy’s in Youngstown.

Mr. Mulidore earned a degree in information technology from YSU. He is employed as a crew member at Wendy’s in Youngstown.
