Coitsville road reopened after oil spill cleanup

COITSVILLE — Coitsville-Hubbard Road (state Route 616) between McGuffey Road and Oak Street Extension reopened about 7 p.m. tonight after having been closed for about eight hours due to an oil-carrying truck having overturned.

The Coitsville Fire Department and the Mahoning County Haz-Mat Team cleaned up after the spill, a 911 dispatcher said. No injuries were reported. Further details were not available late tonight. The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
