Canfield swimmers break more records

Pool records fell as the Canfield Swim Club’s swim team beat Applewood Swim Team 390-110 July 14 at Canfield Swim and Tennis Club.

The boys 13-14 medley relay of Adam Weiss, Drew Bennett, Connor Brady and Daniel Bogen set a pool record with a time of 2:08.34. The girls 13-14 free relay of Sarah Heaven, Madison Stewart, Briana O’Malley and Olivia Williamson broke the pool record with a time of 2:03.18.

Heaven also broke the 13-14 girls backstroke record with a time of 32.88 and Emily King broke her own 15-18 girls butterfly record with a time of 30.56.

Triple first-place winners were Marissa Landers, Jillian Baker, Mara Kohut, Maggie Beistel, Adam Dunbar, Heaven, Olivia Williamson, Daniel Bogen, King, Gavin Trebilcock and Garrett Trebilcock.

The Canfield swim team is coached by John Stefanski and assistants King and Kathryn Mason.
