Austintown’s Stewart wins social work award
Carter P. Lewis of Howland, president of the Eileen Price Lewis and Barbara Lewis Roberts Foundation, presented Kim Stewart of Austintown, licensed independent social worker and director of permanency planning for Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, the NOAS Social Worker of the Year Award.
The $500 award was announced June 7 at the Lewis Roberts Foundation’s 17th annual “Play It for the Kids” Golf Outing award ceremonies.
Motorsport broadcaster and Griff Allen, seen on ESPN and Fox’s Speed, was master of ceremonies for the event, which was held at Trumbull Country Club.
“Kim Stewart has been with NOAS for 16 years, beginning when she was earning her B.A. in social work from YSU,” said NOAS Associate Director Kathy Franz.
“Kim’s passion for uniting children in foster care with adoptive families is unwavering,” she said.
