Rondinelli knocks off 1080 Media

The 1080 Media team looked to have a distinct advantage in its Connie Mack tournament game with Rondinelli Tuxedo. But Rondinelli proved why it won last year’s event and hopes to do the same in 2010.
Rained out the previous night, Rondinelli was on the field at Cene Park at 9 a.m. A grueling 10-inning game in 80-degree weather saw Rondinelli’s undefeated streak remain intact. But not even the hot sun could make them sweat their next game with the also undefeated 1080 media squad.
Playing behind solid pitching, strong defense and clutch hitting, Rondinelli was able to overcome 1080 Media for a 7-0 win. Their undefeated streak and hopes for a tournament championship remain alive.
