Gov. Strickland plans stop Friday at Lemon Grove

YOUNGSTOWN — Gov. Ted Strickland is to make a campaign appearance at 3 p.m. Friday at the Lemon Grove Café to meet with supporters and tout his re-election bid.

Strickland, a Democrat, faces Republican John Kasich in the November general election. The Ohio Democratic Party called the restaurant/bar at 122 W. Federal St. in the city’s downtown asking to host the campaign event, said owner Jacob Harver.
