Charges reduced for Indians minor-leaguers

Charges have been reduced against three minor-league Cleveland Indians players who police say were part of a nightclub attack that left a man with lung and rib injuries.

Akron Aeros first baseman Beau Mills, Aeros outfielder Jerad Head and Columbus Clippers pitcher Josh Tomlin had been charged with felonious assault in June.

Their cases were transferred Thursday from a Summit County court to the lower Akron Municipal Court after a grand jury indicted them on lesser charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
