Sharon Regional opens new center

Sharon Regional Health System has opened its new Liberty Family Medicine Center at 1488 W. Liberty St.

Located in the Cocca Plaza at the corner of Logan Way and state Route 304, the center is the new office location for family medicine specialist Dr. Daniel Brown, who has joined Sharon Regional’s medical staff and relocated his practice from its former location at 5170 Belmont Ave.

As a board-certified family-medicine physician, Dr. Brown cares for infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

The physician, who completed a family-practice residency at Western Reserve Care System (Forum Health) where he was chief resident in 2003 and 2004, has been in private practice since 2004.

He also is an assistant professor of family medicine at Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rootstown.
