Astro Falcons won the regional championship, joining Rondinelli Tuxedo in Northville, Mich., for the NABF Junior Division World Series. Tyler Serich picked up the championship victory for Astro, going 41⁄3 innings, giving up three runs (two earned), on only two hits, while striking out four. Anthony Rohan led a balanced Astro offense with two hits and two RBIs, while Mike Briach had two hits. Jared Weisen also had two hits, an RBI and a run scored while Jake Froats had a hit, two RBIs and a run scored for Astro. Serich and Tom Dallulo had a hit and an RBI each while Nico DiAnni had a hit and scored twice. Ryan Strollo had a double and scored a run for Astro. Shawnn Potopsky had a hit and scored a run while Brian Cox scored a run and had an RBI for the Hurricanes.

Dave Sugar Excavating punched its ticket to the NABF Sr. Divison World Series in Jackson, Miss. Jason Revesz pitched a complete game shutout for Sugar’s win, giving up two hits on three walks, while striking out seven. Will Frazier suffered the loss for 1080. Cody Herald led Sugar with two hits and a run scored. G.J. Senchak had an RBI while John Korpon scored the other Sugar run. Jordan Izzo had a triple for Sugar. Ron Bovo and Anthony Raschilla had the lone hits for 1080.

Dan Popio led 1080 with three hits, including a triple, an RBI and two runs scored. Justin Vrable had two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored while Joe Aulizia had a hit and two RBIs. Ronnie Bovo had a double, an RBI and a run scored while both Cavan Cohoes and Matt Harmon had a hit, an RBI and a run scored each for 1080. Tony Koch and Brent Messett had the lone hits for Rondinelli in the loss.
