Ryan Joseph Wilson and his bride, the former Allison Lynn Wiland, honeymooned in the Cayman Islands following their wedding May 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church and reception at McMenamy’s in Niles.

The Rev. Stephen Sparling officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Homer and Karen Wiland of Canfield and son of Rodney and Michele Wilson of Ottawa, Ohio.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and is serving in AmeriCorps.

The groom, also a son of the late Rhonda Wilson, is a student and employee at Cleveland State University.

The bride’s satin ball gown featured a draped bodice, pickup skirt and a chapel train.

Lapis-colored gowns were worn by Heather Cooper, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Emily Wiland, the bride’s sister-in-law, and Jessica Griswold, Kristi Mraz, Misti Mraz, Shawna Dory, Angela Urban and Margy Ritchey. Flower girl was the groom’s cousin, Carlie Jacobson.

The duties of best man were performed by Derek Wischmeyer, and groomsmen were Homer Wiland, the bride’s brother; Dan Holloway, her cousin; Mike Fortman; Cory Greve, the groom’s cousin; Dustin Griswold, his nephew; Patrick Williams and Keith Baumgartner. Ring bearer was Andrew Thomas, and ushers were Kyle Thomas, Corey Thomas and Ethan Thomas, the bride’s cousins, and Curt Greve and Kyle Greve, cousins of the groom.

The Wilsons live in Cleveland.
