Plaque placed in Trumbull County Courthouse

Expression of appreciation: Trumbull County MetroParks, in conjunction with Trumbull County Probate Court Judge Thomas A. Swift, announce that a plaque has been installed at Trumbull County Courthouse to commemorate and thank all past, present and future park board commissioners and probate judges. Among those involved in the placing of the plaque on the first floor in the Trumbull probate courtroom are, from left, Judge Swift and Steve Sava, Beth Kane, John Picuri and John Brown Jr., park commissioners, Not present for the event was Mike Wilson. The park board commissioners are appointed by the probate judge for Trumbull County to staggered three-year terms. The mission of Trumbull County MetroParks is to conserve, manage, protect and promote the county’s natural resources for the benefit of the public’s recreational needs, environmental education, awareness, health and enjoyment.
