Parents announce date for Rummel, Ruminski rite

The engagement of Shannon Lynn Rummel of Westlake, Ohio, and Kevin Victor Ruminski of Avon, Ohio, and plans for their autumn wedding are announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Scott and Victoria Rummel of Cortland and the prospective groom is a son of Victor and Joyce Ruminski of Hubbard.

The couple have chosen Oct. 2 for their 1 p.m. wedding at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland and for their evening reception at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.

Miss Rummel graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a master of business administration degree in accounting. She is a senior accountant with Cliffs Natural Resources in Cleveland.

Mr. Ruminski is manager in the assurance services practice with Ernst & Young, LLP, in Cleveland. He earned a master’s of business administration in accounting from Youngstown State University.
