Hillis-Boyle engagement is announced

The engagement of Courtney Hillis and Joshua Boyle, both of Corona Del Mar, Calif., and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced.

The couple will be united in marriage Sept. 18 at Fellows Riverside Gardens, and their reception will follow the ceremony at the Davis Center, both in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride, who was raised by her grandmother, Lillian Lucas of Mentor, graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in food, agricultural and biological engineering. She is a project engineer with Malcolm Pirnie Inc. in Irvine, Calif.

The future groom, a son of James and Angela Boyle of Canfield, graduated from Central Wyoming College with an associate degree in outdoor education. He is an instructor with Orange County Outdoor Science School at San Bernardino National Forest and a white water rafting guide in the Sequoia National Forest.
