Astro Falcons win in NABF

Astro Falcons held off Andy’s 9ers, 4-3 in the NABF Jr. Regional baseball tournament at Cene Park on Friday.
Tom Dallulo picked up the win for Astro, giving up seven hits, while striking out seven.
Nico DiAnni led Astro with three hits, while Anthony Rohan had two and Ryan Strollo added a double. Connor Hall hit a three-run inside-the-park homer for the 9ers.
Northern Ohio Hurricanes 9, OTN Performance 1
Austin Cooper scored the lone run for OTN.
Scott Sency hit a double and drove in three runs for the Hurricanes.
Northern Ohio Hurricanes 1, Roth Brothers 0
Nick Kolat went the distance for Roth, giving up only six hits. Derek Pasquale led Roth with two hits.
Fielder’s Choice 13, OTN Performance 4
T.J. Hurst had three hits for OTN, while Dom Gore had two hits and an RBI and Ron Deamicis added a double and a run scored.
NABF Sr. Regional Tournament
Rondinelli Tuxedo stayed unbeaten in the winner’s bracket with a 5-2 win over Lincoln Park Rails.
Aaron McGee pitched a complete game, giving up six hits. Tony Koch led Rondinelli with three hits, and Brock McGivern had two.
BABE RUTH
Rondinelli swept Preston Motors, 6-3 and 11-8, advancinge to the semifinals.
Ryan Harris pitched a complete game in game one. Harrison Wagner, Drew Beck, and John-Mark Weisman collected two hits each for Rondinelli.
Ernie Burkes and Vinny Janetti had two hits each for Preston Motors.
John-Mark Weisman collected three hits and two RBI for Rondinelli in game two. Kane Durkin drove in two runs and pitched five innings of shutout relief to pick up the win.
Ernie Burkes, Nic Olivia, and Joe Bullano had three hits each for Preston.
Sluggers 11, OTN Blue 6
Sluggers scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game and then scored five runs in the ninth to sweep their series.
Ryan Wolfe had two hits and four RBIs, while Allen Hayes, Ty Wiery, and Andy Lubonovic had two hits each for Sluggers. Jake Foster hit a triple.
Joel Hake threw five innings of relief to earn the win.
Austin Cooper had two hits to lead OTN Blue.
