turnpike tolls Current prices
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is raising tolls on the mainline, which begins at the Ohio border in New Springfield and crosses Pennsylvania to Philadelphia, ending at the Delaware River Bridge. The turnpike commission has not worked out a new fare schedule yet, saying it will be available in the fall. But tolls will rise about 10 percent for people paying cash and about 3 percent for people using E-ZPass.
Listed are current passenger-car tolls for popular exits along the road from the gateway in New Springfield. Figures include the gateway toll of $3.90.
Pittsburgh: $6.50 cash, $6.44 E-ZPass.
Donegal (the Seven Springs exit): $9.05, $9.01.
Breezewood (for people traveling to Washington, D.C., or Gettysburg): $14.20, $14.16.
Harrisburg: $20.35, $20.28.
Philadelphia: $28.40, $28.32.
Delaware River Bridge: $29.35, $29.29.
Tolls also are going to rise on Route 60, except for the Findlay Connector from the Chippewa exit to the Pittsburgh Airport.
