Brian Harrison’s three hits drove in six runs to power the Brooklyn Cyclones to Thursday’s 7-4 victory over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers at MCU Park in New York-Penn League Class A action.

It was the Scrappers’ second straight loss by that score to the Cyclones.

After J.B. Brown drew a two-out walk off Scrappers starter Alex Kaminsky, Harrison homered over the left-field fence for a 2-0 Brooklyn lead in the second inning.

The Scrappers (11-16) scored the next four runs. Carlos Moncrief launched the three-run third inning with a one-out ground-rule double. He moved to third on Daniel DeGeorge’s single and scored when Jordan Casas hit a sacrifice fly.

After Brian Heere walked, Giovanni Urshela doubled to drive in DeGeorge and Heere for a 3-2 Scrappers lead.

Diego Seastrunk doubled in the fourth inning and scored the Scrappers’ fourth run on Moncrief’s double.

In the sixth inning, the Cyclones tagged reliever Julio Ramirez for four runs.

Harrison’s bases-loaded double gave the Cyclones (17-10) a 6-4 lead. His other RBI came in the eighth inning.
