ATHLETIC GROUPS

McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.

CLASSES

Chaney High School January and June Classes of 1943 and 1944 will have a reunion Aug. 7 at the Saxon Club Pavilion on Meridian Road, Austintown. East High School Class of 1958 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Johnny’s on Market Street in Boardman. Spouses are welcome. The class will also have a 70th birthday party and reunion on Aug. 14 at the MVR Club in Youngstown. A social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. will be followed by a buffet dinner. Cost is $25 per person. CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at the Dennison Farm, Route 46, Canfield, for a noon luncheon and meeting. The program will be a social. Hostesses are Karen Dennison, Becky Murray, Karen Matthews and Joan Morrison.

Howland Happy Stitchers meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 851 Niles-Cortland Road, Howland, for a presentation by Sue Stoddart.

That Quilt Group I Belong To will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Fair Park Community Building in Canfield. Guests are welcome.

Youngstown Christian Women’s Club will present a luncheon, “Get Up and Go,” from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 12 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Barbara Sierp of Gloryland Tours and Kara Pecchia, soloist, will be featured. Holborn Herb Growers Guild will have a picnic at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Master’s Pavilion in Boardman Township Park. Members are asked to take a covered dish and table service. Hostesses will provide chicken and beverages. A fun auction is planned.
