Yo-Mah-O seats officers, awards scholarships during meeting

YOUNGSTOWN
Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals installed officers for the 2010-11 term on June 8 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.
Inducted by Mary Hake with the assistance of Marlene Dailey were: Christine L. Bidwell, president; Sue E. Urmson, vice president; Patti Cearfoss, secretary; Denise Altman, treasurer; and Nancy Brunner, assistant treasurer. Lynn Romeo will serve as parliamentary adviser.
Bidwell, who will be serving her second term as president, joined the chapter in 2004 and has served as assistant treasurer and treasurer and served on and chaired numerous committees. She was named Member of the Year in 2008.
Bidwell obtained her certified professional secretary and certified administrative professional designations, and is employed in the office of equal opportunity and diversity at Youngstown State University. She lives in Vienna with her husband Bill.
The chapter, which has been awarding scholarships since 1951, awarded two scholarships of $1,000 each to Katie Mulholland and Andrew Anthony.
A daughter of Bob and Nancy Mulholland of Poland, Miss Mulholland is a 2010 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. This fall she will attend John Carroll University, where she will major in business education.
Mr. Anthony, a son of Stephanie Anthony of Poland, graduated in 2007 from Poland Seminary High School and is majoring in business administration at Westminster College.
