Upton Association schedules events

Harriet Taylor Upton Association and Trumbull Historical Society will have a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 23 and 24 at the Upton House, 380 Mahoning Ave. NW. Featured will be tools, toys, furniture, antiques and household items. Donations for the sale will be accepted from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday and from 2 to 5 July 22.

The Upton House will be open to visitors from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 1. There will be an exhibit of Victorian secrets.

The association will present Poetry in the Garden at noon Aug. 18. Jeanne Bryner of Newton Falls will read her works at 12:45 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes a box lunch. Call 330-847-7552 for reservations.
