Pig Iron festival set for Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN
The 2010 Pig Iron Community Street Concert will take place from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday on North Phelps Street, Downtown, between Commerce and Federal streets. North Phelps Street will be blocked off to vehicular traffic.
Produced and hosted by the Pig Iron Literary & Art Works, the free festival will feature rock music and other performers on a stage. Food and refreshment vendors will be on hand.
The entertainment schedule is as follows:
Pig Iron Poets, 3:15 p.m.; Dr. Ray’s Amazing Sideshow of Science, 4 p.m.; 3-D and Tee Dirty Rap, 5 p.m.; The Singing Art Teacher, 3:30 p.m.; Magician Jason Alan, 5 p.m.; Embers of Silence, 4:20 p.m.; Nothing Pure, 6 p.m.; Makayla Dawn, 7 p.m.
