THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, will serve a homemade Chinese lunch and supper from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday. This week’s meal will feature Shanghai pork chops and beef. The cost is $5. To order in advance call 330-799-8133 on Thursday.

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, will be selling takeout meatloaf dinners from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $6, and the meal includes scalloped potatoes, green beans and a cookie. Patrons can drive up to the back door to place an order.

FRIDAY

Canfield Lions will sponsor a fish dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include baked or fried haddock, coleslaw, roll, beverage and dessert, with a choice of one side, french fries, macaroni and cheese, haluski, green beans or pirogi. The cost is $10. Takeouts available.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

Deerfield American Legion Post 713, 1517 state Route 14, will serve breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the post home. Costs are $6 for adults and $3 for children. The menu consists of pancakes, sausage, eggs, sausage gravy over biscuits and a beverage. Proceeds will benefit the American Legion scholarship fund. The breakfast is open to the public.

Hubbard Area Chamber of Commerce will have its annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday in Pavilion No. 3 at Harding Park, off Route 616 in Hubbard. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.

SUNDAY

Beaver Township Fire Hall, 601 W. South Range Road, North Lima, will be the setting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a spaghetti dinner to benefit Oris Beight, who is a quadriplegic following an auto accident. Meals include all-you-can eat spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. The cost is $6 for those 11 and older and $4 for those 5 to 10. Children 4 and under eat free. Capt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 may eat for free. Carryouts also will be available; containers can be purchased or patrons may provide their own.

Italian American Veterans Centre, 113 S. Meridian Road, will have a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. at the post. Meals are $6 for adults and $3.50 for children under 13.

The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfasts of eggs, sausage or ham, hash browns, pancakes, freedom toast, toast, and coffee or tea from 8 a.m. to noon. Meals are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, North Lima, will have a breakfast buffet from 7-10 a.m. July 31. The all-you-can eat breakfast or brunch is available for a donation. Items will include eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. Otterbein United Methodist Church, 1128 State Road, Champion, will have a rotisserie chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. July 14. The menu includes 1/4 rotisserie chicken, four sides, rolls and desserts. The cost is $7 for adults. Children’s meals of chicken tenders are $4 for those 4-10. Children 3 and under eat free.
