Police search for gunman in Albuquerque shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Police are searching for a gunman around an Albuquerque solar and fiber optics manufacturer.

Authorities released few details today but say they were searching for at least one person who shot multiple people on the campus of Emcore Corp.

There was no immediate word on how many people where shot or what their conditions might be.

Some businesses in the area have been put on lockdown and police were warning residents who live in the area to stay inside their homes. Police have closed roads around Emcore, which is near Sandia National Laboratories on the city’s southeast side.
