SENIOR SIDELIGHTS

Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30, chair yoga at 10 and bridge at1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting, computer class at 10 and noon, and Digital Club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m. and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., Diabetic Support Group at 10, exercise at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2; and Friday, board games and parties. Special events: Tuesday, Leo’s Ristorante at 10:30 a.m.; Wednesday, dining with diabetes at 12:30; Thursday, Boardman luau at 10, and Friday, Lady of Victory trip and Sebring fun day picnic at 11 with a visiting physician as the speaker.
