ROCck choir plans to sing in Indiana
AUSTINTOWN
The ROCck Children’s Choir, one of the foundations supported by racecar driver Tony Stewart, will travel to Indiana to visit the hospitals and kids camps he supports.
The choir, based in the Valley, has accepted an invitation to perform at Camp Riley Amphitheater on Monday.
The performance is free and open to the public and campers, as part of the “Kids Helping Kids” tour.
Transportation to Indiana and local venues for the past year has been provided by FAB Limousines and Tours. Also, three car dealers helped: Chuck Eddy, Greg Greenwood and Fred Martin contributed to help with expenses.
ROCck stands for Raising Our Commitment to cancer kids. It comprises survivors, siblings and others touched by cancer ages 3-17. The choir was founded in 2002 and has raised and donated thousands of dollars to helping children.
