Prusaks’ 50th observed at family picnic
AUSTINTOWN
Mr. and Mrs. Stephen R. Prusak of Austintown were honored by family members as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 3 during a picnic at 2 p.m. at the home of a daughter and son-in-law in New Springfield.
Family members serving as hosts for the festivities were Kimberly and Jack Wetzel of New Springfield, Christina Rossi and William Petro of Poland, and Richard and Deborah Prusak of Austintown. There are six grandchildren in the family.
St. Christine Church was the setting on July 2, 1960, as the former Linda Scott and Mr. Prusak were united in marriage. They are members of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Youngstown.
Mrs. Prusak retired in 1996 from Conroy’s IGA in Youngstown, where she was an assistant head cashier. She is a member of the Young at Heart Seniors at the church.
Mr. Prusak, who served with the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1958, was a press operator with General Motors in Lordstown prior to retiring in 1998. He is a member of the Catholic War Veterans, John J. Buckley Post 1292.
