Maderitzes’ 50th gathers family for festive dinner

YOUNGSTOWN

Joe and Janice Maderitz of Youngstown celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding with a dinner party July 2 at Bruno’s in Poland.

Invitations were extended for the 5 p.m. dinner hosted by the couple’s children, Joe and Teresa Maderitz and Jeff and Julie Maderitz, all of Boardman.

The couple also have three grandchildren, Matthew, Breanna and Alivia.

Mrs. Maderitz is a self-employed artist who owns Painted Petals. Mr. Maderitz retired in 2000 after 35 years at General Motors in Lordstown, where he was a coordinator.

Mr. Maderitz married the former Janice Marko on July 2, 1960, at St. Rose Church in Girard.
