The exchange of nuptial vows took place on June 12 as Tricia Colburn and Samuel McKenney, both of Avon Lake, were united in marriage during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony in the gazebo in Boardman Township Park. The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Robert Noble.

Edward and Sandra Stiles of Poland are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Dan and Joy McKenney of Canfield.

The couple greeted guests at a reception in the Saxon Club in Youngstown before leaving on a wedding trip to Las Vegas. They live in Avon Lake.

The bride, an office manager with Dr. John Heilman in Avon Lake, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree from YSU and is an audio visual technician with Cleveland Corporate Services in Cleveland.

The honor attendant was Jennifer King, the bride’s sister, and bridesmaids were Katie Shurilla, Heather Vanderbilt, Sarah Welch, and Ila Jasinski, the bride’s cousin. They wore wisteria and sangria gowns. Mia Vejdnai was flower girl for her cousin.

Serving as best man was Dan Welch, and groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Josh McKenney, and Ricky Kayali, Jason Willis and Dan Logan. Ring bearers were Collin Meehan and Jayden Meehan, the bride’s nephews. Ushers were Adam Hobbs, the bride’s cousin, and Kyle Lambright, a cousin of the groom.
