Traffic adjusted for road projects

U.S. Route 224 in Boardman and Canfield townships will have various lane restrictions in either or both directions until further notice from just east of North Hillside Road to just west of Pinewood Drive for resurfacing work.
State Route 625 will have various lane restrictions in either or both directions from Route 224 to Midlothian Boulevard for resurfacing work.
The work is part of a $2.3 million project to resurface Route 224 from just east of North Hillside to just west of Pinewood, Route 625 from Route 224 to Midlothian and state Route 46 in Trumbull County from U.S. Route 422 to state Route 5.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed by August.
In Springfield Township, state Route 617 is closed until early August from Beard Road to Unity Road for two culvert replacements.
The detour is Route 165 to state Route 14 to state Route 170. Access to all residences and establishments will be maintained during construction.
The work is part of a $300,000 project to replace three culverts on Route 617 near Unity.
Two of the culverts are between Beard and Unity roads, and the third culvert is between Unity and Route 170. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by October.
In New Middletown, state Route 630 (East Calla Road), just west of Rapp Road, is now open.
