Teenage girl shot on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN

A 16-year-old South Side Hylda Avenue girl was shot in the right and left thighs around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

She was standing on the southwest corner of Mistletoe and Hudson avenues on the city’s South Side when the shooting occurred, but did not see anyone or a vehicle, according to a police report.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center by a friend she flagged down driving a car after being shot.
