Christopher Robert Kohl and his bride, the former Lynn Anne Mortimer, greeted guests during a reception at the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, following their 2 p.m. Oct. 17 wedding at St. Nicholas Church.

The Rev. Martin Celuch officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Joann and Keith Mortimer of Medina and son of Margie and Chris Kohl of Struthers.

The couple honeymooned at Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, Pa., and in Las Vegas and live in Frederick, Md.

Beading embellished the bride’s strapless mermaid-style satin gown. It featured a sweetheart neckline and a court-length train.

Stephanie VanDyke, the honor attendant, wore a black gown.

The duties of best man were performed by David Denton, and ushers were Steven Mortimer, the bride’s brother; and Matthew Kohl and Scott Kohl, brothers of the groom.

Mrs. Kohl graduated from Mount Union College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a branch administrator with The Brickman Group, Ltd., in Clarksburg, Md.

Mr. Kohl earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Mount Union College and is an operations manager with The Brickman Group in Frederick.
