Featured performers will be Kara Toney, Redemption, Glorybound, His Servant, True Believers, the Gospel Echoes and Victory Harvest Choir.

Those attending may bring lawn chairs and a covered dish or dessert.

Open house

Elizabeth Life Center, 7 S. Garland Ave., will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24.
The center is offering associate-of-arts degrees. A session will begin Aug. 31; fall courses are Bible basics, Old Testament survey, English and computers.
A community forum of six weekly sessions will focus on “The Image of God in the Movies” and the movie, “The Book of Eli,” will be discussed.
There also will be a free minicourse on youth ministry in October.

Ciferno concert

Tia Ciferno will present a concert at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ellsworth Presbyterian Church, 11171 Akron-Canfield Road.
She has recorded three CDs — “ Healer of My Heart,” ”Heaven Sent” and “Legacy.”
She has also written a book, “Mom Moments – A Daughter’s Journal.”
A free-will offering will be taken.
Tribute to trek
In commemoration of the historic Mormon pioneer exodus in the 1800s, more than 300 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in northeastern and central Ohio and western Pennsylvania will participate in a 20-mile trek, pulling handcarts, from Jamestown, Pa., in Mercer County, to the Andover area, Ashtabula County, from Thursday through Saturday.
Handcart pioneers walked the 1,300 miles from Iowa City to Salt Lake City between 1856 and 1860, pushing or pulling all that they owned.
Youth participants are divided into families, with adult leaders acting as “parents.”

Sebring Interdenominational Holiness Camp is under way at 895 Mahoning Ave., for the 106th encampment.
Roy Lauter, evangelist from Wilmore, Ky., is camp evangelist and Billy Huddleston of Cincinnati, youth evangelist.
Children’s ministry will be provided by Don Specht of Massillon, and Karrie Varagliotti of Hanoverton.
Music for the encampment will be provided by “Alive” from Marysville, and Mark and Janene Dubbeld of Moneta, Va.
The camp will continue through July 18.
