Allison Joseph, daughter of Bruce and Karen Joseph of Boardman, and William Small, son of Bill and Kathy Small of West Islip, N.Y., exchanged wedding vows Dec. 31, 2009, at our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Coral Gables, Fla.

The Rev. Gary George officiated over the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a cocktail reception and dinner at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami. The couple honeymooned in St. Thomas and will live in New York City.

The bride’s gown featured a sweetheart neckline, beading and embroidery as well as a hand-cut floral skirt. A cathedral veil was adorned with crystals.

Kara Joseph of Boardman served as maid of honor, Stephanie Pace of Singapore served as matron of honor, and Kelly Small of West Islip served as a bridesmaid.

Michael Brown of New York City served as the best man. Michael McKegney and Salvatore Cataldo, both of New City, participated as groomsmen.

Dr. Joseph received a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College and a doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She recently completed her residency in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and will join the staff of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark as an attending podiatrist.

Mr. Small received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a commodities trader for Kramer Energy Group in New York City.
