Historical society schedules raffle

Hubbard Historical Society will be participating in Hubbard Community Day to be sponsored by Hubbard Area Chamber of Commerce and the diagnostic and specialty center of Sharon Regional Health System from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the center’s parking lot on West Liberty St.

The historical society will raffle a pair of framed watercolor paintings of farm scenes during the day, and society members will be on hand to answer questions about the society and the historic McBride House on Hager Street.

The society will have an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 8 at the McBride House, and in September society members will tour the old Stevenson School in Masury with dinner to follow. For information contact Mary Ann Lark at 330-534-3105.
