Spaghetti dinner is prelude to festival

LOWELLVILLE

Lowellville Mount Carmel Society and Holy Rosary Church will serve spaghetti dinners Sunday at Mount Carmel Hall on Washington Street. Carryouts will be available from 11 a.m. to noon, and dine-in or carryout meals will be from noon to 5 p.m.

Meals are $8 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 10 and free for those 4 and under.

The dinner is a prelude to the 115th annual Mount Carmel Festival.

Festival activities will be available from 6 p.m. to midnight each day July 14-17.

Among the special events will be a Baby Doll Dance July 14, 15 and 16. A parade is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. July 16 with an Italian Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, and the festival will conclude with a fireworks display July 17.
