Beaver Township Park Board is sponsoring its annual summer youth camp for Beaver Township children for two weeks this month.
Beaver Township youth in grades one through four are eligible to participate.
There is no cost to register, and all activities are free.
The first camp will run Monday through July 16 at Memorial Park, located behind the South Range Football Stadium.
The second camp will be offered July 26-30 at Woodworth Park, off East Western Reserve Road on Luther Avenue, between Market Street and Southern Boulevard.
Hours for each camp are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.
This year’s program features science experiments, crafts, reading and writing activities, and a kids’ Olympics event.
The Mahoning County Green Team also will talk about recycling and teach the children how to play “Eco” games.
On the closing day of each camp, children will be presented with their kids’ Olympics efforts and will have an opportunity to choose a book to take home and keep as their own.
To register or to obtain more information, contact the Beaver Township Park Board at 330-549-9552.
