Strickland attacks Kasich’s tax plan

Gov. Ted Strickland crit-icized his Republican opponent’s goal to phase out the state income tax, saying former U.S. Rep. John Kasich believes in “tooth-fairy economics.”

Strickland joked about the logic behind Kasich’s goal to eliminate Ohio’s income tax, saying Kasich has no plan to replace the revenue needed to pay for schools, universities, libraries, parks and prisons.
