Pearl Street Mission relocates to downtown Youngstown from East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — The United Methodist Community Center’s Youngstown site has relocated from 334 North Pearl St. to 139 E. Boardman St.

The United Methodist Community Center, first called the Pearl Street Mission, began in 1922 as a neighborhood house for the Italian community. The facility at 334 N. Pearl has been purchased by The ISLE, Inc., which will use it for business offices and day programming for adults with disabilities.
