3,000 flags in Hubbard
hubbard
Hubbard streets looked patriotic for the Fourth of July as some 3,000 small American flags were placed in yards in the community. Rich Suchovcky, an agent with Burgan Real Estate, and John Burgan, co-owner, coordinate the activity.
This is the fourth year for the flags to fly in Hubbard and the 16th year overall for the project initiated by Karen Ament, an agent with Burgan. Flags also were placed in Austintown, Boardman, Canfield and Liberty.
The 40-member youth group of Covenant Life Fellowship distributed the flags. In turn, the Burgan company makes a monetary donation to the Speed of Light mission project that the youth group supports.
Suchovcky, a lifelong city resident, said the project “gives back to community, which has been so supportive of Burgan.”
