Luchey-Kutchel engagement is announced

Michael and Saundra Luchey of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Marie Luchey of Boardman and James Anthony Kutchel of Boardman. The prospective groom is a son of Jim Kutchel of Austintown and Nellie Kutchel of Boardman.

Miss Luchey graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and from Ashland University with a master’s in curriculum and classroom instruction. She also earned a master’s degree in school counseling from Westminster College. She is a science teacher and cheerleading coach for Boardman Local Schools and the competition team director for the Judy Conti Dance Studios.

Mr. Kutchel graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is pursuing a juris doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. He is employed at the Gervelis Law Firm.

The couple will be married in July at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown.
