Top Hat offers acting workshops
YOUNGSTOWN
Top Hat Productions is accepting applications for its annual summer youth program, which begins Thursday and continues each Thursday until Sunday, Aug. 22, when a performance for family and friends takes place. The workshop, which is open to children age 5 through 12, teaches stage performance and presence while developing self-esteem. Sessions are free, and participants will be given a hot meal at each session. Due to numerous requests, instruction in technical aspects of theater for older youths also will be offered. Historical Day set in township park
NORTH BLOOMFIELD
Historical Day in North Bloomfield will be July 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the township park, at the intersection of Routes 45 and 87 East. Events will include country singers; exhibits in Town Hall; antique classic truck, car and tractor show; a hit ‘n’ miss engine and ice-cream making.
