UPDATE: Route 11 reopened after bomb squad investigates suspicious Mitsubishi

LISBON

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers closed state Route 11 between the Route 154 (Lisbon) and West Point exits for more than two hours because of a suspicious vehicle.

Route 11 northbound reopened both lanes, and southbound reopened one lane at 7:56 p.m.

A Mitsubishi Eclipse was pulled over for speeding, traveling southbound on state Route 11 near the Route 154 exit around 5:30 p.m. Troopers noticed paraphernalia inside and deemed the vehicle “suspicious.”

The Youngstown Bomb Squad was called to the area to investigate.
