Lisa Simkins, Michael Cardona are engaged

The engagement of Lisa Simkins and Michael Cardona, both of Austintown, is being announced by their parents.

Paul Simkins and Debbie and Carl Alexander, all of Austintown, are parents of the bride-elect, and the future groom is a son of Karen Al-Sharif of Youngstown.

Miss Simkins graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in integrated language arts education. She is a bridal consultant with Evaline’s Bridal and Tuxedo in Warren.

Mr. Cardona is the owner/artist of Identity Tattoos and Body Piercing in Youngstown.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown, and for their reception that evening at the Fifth Season Banquet Center in Mineral Ridge.
