YOUNGSTOWN

Sabrina Ann Sura and Dustin James Allen Sr., both of Girard, were united in marriage in a 4 p.m. June 12 wedding at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Youngstown.

The Rev. Irwin J. Smuda officiated for the daughter of David and Joanne Sura of Girard and son of Sandy Muffich of Channahon, Ill., and Edward Allen of Washington state.

The couple were honored during a dinner at Margherita’s Grille and at a party that followed at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride, who was escorted by her sons, Corban Bryant and Keaton Bryant, wore a strapless mermaid-style gown with a chapel train. White and pink floral appliques adorned the bodice, and ivory and pink flowers were embroidered on the skirt’s overlay.

The wedding party included the couple’s daughter Fiona Allen, who was escorted by Justine Latiano, the bride’s sister.

The groom was attended by his son Dustin J. Allen Jr.

The bride graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in political science/international politics.

The groom completed a four-year ironwork apprenticeship in Youngstown, and is a union ironworker with the Ironworkers Local Union 207 in Youngstown.

The Allens live at 949 Gary Ave., Girard.
