Red Cross schedules August wine tasting

VIENNA

The American Red Cross of Mahoning Valley will host its second annual Passion for Red wine tasting event Aug. 6 at Squaw Creek Country Club.

Guests will have an opportunity to sample wines from such wineries as Gallo Wineries, Chalet Debonet, Trinchero Family Wine and VineOne.

Tickets for the evening are $50 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and a chance auction.

There will be a special raffle drawing at the conclusion of the evening. Those purchasing raffle tickets for $20 will have an opportunity to win three times and the winner need not be present to win.

First prize is a trip to Napa Valley in California.

Second prize is a fully stocked Ethan Allen wine cabinet.

Third prize is a basket of gift cards to local restaurants.
