Poland celebrates history Civil War style

People from all over swarmed to Poland for festivities, food and a wedding.
Poland held its third annual Celebrate Poland June 25 and 26 in the area surrounding the Village Hall. The vendors filled the area selling merchandise ranging from paintings and jewelry to aprons and plants.
The annual Poland Idol and Chalk it Up for Poland drew large crowds along with other activities including a kids festival, petting zoo and lamplight tour of Riverside Cemetery.
Celebrate Poland held its first Civil War wedding ceremony with Youngstown’s Heather Franklin and Christopher Mulidore June 26. Following the wedding, Mulidore was enlisted into the Army and sent to battle in a Civil War reenactment between the 61st Chapter Ohio Voluntary Infantry and the 4th Alabama Company B.
