The wedding of Kimberly Morrison and Matthew Speece, both of Solon, took place May 1 at Berlin Center United Methodist Church, where the couple exchanged vows at 2:30 p.m. in the presence of the Rev. Russell Libb.

A reception at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park, honored the daughter of Curt and Debbie Morrison of Berlin Center and the son of Dawn Speece of North Jackson and the late Stephen Speece.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple live in Solon.

Eggplant-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Michelle Fleming, the bride’s sister, and Heather James, and the bridesmaids, Megan Smith, Emily Johnson and Rachel Roberts. Flower girls were Secret Fleming and Kaelynn Fleming, nieces of the bride.

Jake Zatchok served as best man, and groomsmen were Matthew Warholic, Ryan Justis, Scott Mulder and Michael Cengia. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Alexander Taranto, and ushers were Todd Morrison, the bride’s brother; Thomas Taranto, the groom’s brother-in-law; Matthew Warnock and Ryan Jones.

Mrs. Speece graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree. She is a medical dosimetrist with Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland.

Mr. Speece, a mechanical engineer with Swagelok in Solon, earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from OSU.
