June 22

Attempted burglary: Two men, age 18 to 20, apparently tried to break into a residence in the 6800 block of Clingan Road before the homeowner said he saw them fleeing on foot to a wooded area.

June 23

Burglary: Took place in the 4700 block of Kennedy Road through the front door. Stolen were $4,000, four birth certificates and a vehicle title.

June 24

Criminal damaging: Someone cut a chain-link fence to a gate at landfill property off South State Line Road.

June 25

Burglary: To a home in the 2300 block of Lyon Boulevard, where a 42-inch flat-screen TV, an air-conditioning unit, an electronics box and three digital photographs were taken. The loss came to $2,300.
